Freedom of Information Act Requests
Sandy Springs Water District (“SSWD”) complies with the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), S.C. Code Ann. § 30-4-10, et seq., and provides access to public records in accordance with applicable law.
FOIA Fee Schedule
Pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. § 30-4-30(B), SSWD may charge reasonable fees for the search, retrieval, redaction, and reproduction of records responsive to a FOIA request.

SSWD may require a deposit not exceeding 25% of the reasonably anticipated cost of fulfilling a request before beginning work. Any remaining balance is due at the time the records are produced.
Certain records may be exempt from disclosure under S.C. Code Ann. § 30-4-40.
